OZARK ORTHO WELCOMES
Andrew Heinzelmann, MD was born in Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri, and grew up in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Dr. Heinzelmann attended Centenary College in Shreveport, Louisiana, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Biology and a graduate degree in Microbiology from the University of Arkansas. He completed medical school and his Orthopaedic residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. He completed a sports medicine fellowship at Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center in Jackson, Mississippi. He joined Ozark Orthopaedics in 2008 and has special interests in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, hip and knee as well as reconstructive surgery of the shoulder, trauma surgery and sports medicine.
